Etualalla oikealla on kipsinen naisen torsoveistos. Taustalla muita kipsiveistoksia piirustusalin seinää vasten olevissa hyllyissä. Alun perin vuonna 1708 Turun Akatemian yhteyteen perustettu piirustussali siirtyi vuonna 1828 Helsingin yliopistoon. Piirustuslaitos suljettiin vuonna 2016. Vuodesta 2018 lähtien piirustussali on ollut osa nykyistä Tiedemuseo Liekkiä. Piirustussalissa on tarjolla kursseja Helsingin yliopiston opiskelijoille sekä tapahtumia suurelle yleisölle.
